Beagle Dachshund Mix
Sometimes, a beagle dachshund mix puppy may be found in a rescue.
These hounds adore children and like to play for hours, but first the dogs should be well socialized and obedience trained to be trusted with children. Small kids should not be left with these dogs unsupervised, because these hounds play rambunctiously and like to chew, which can frighten a child. Chewing is instinctive for this breed, but can be trained out of these dogs. These active dogs cannot be used a s lap dogs. They are recommended for energetic people who like to spend much time outdoors and are experienced with dog training.

Beagle Dachshund Mix -
puppy, rescue
These are sturdy little scent hounds that make great hunting dogs, if properly trained. More often, though, they are used as family pets and companions. Resembling a foxhound in appearance, these dogs are characterized by sympathetic large brown eyes, and long pendant ears. These dogs remain playful and energetic well into their adulthood. They are smart, though determined and somewhat stubborn. Their handler should be a strong-willed person, who will keep the dog's strong hunting instinct under control. The dogs are relatively easy to groom. Sometimes, a beagle dachshund mix puppy may be found in a rescue.
